Welcome to my Academic Web Site!
From 2000-2006, I have been studying business and computer science at different German universities.
In 2006, I graduated with a M.Sc. Information Systems from Humboldt Universität zu Berlin, including one semester of studying in Universitet Uppsala, Sweden.
My current main research interest are Weblogs and their computational recognition. In my master thesis, which
was strongly supported by my professor Bettina Berendt, I analysed the possibilities to computationally recognise
the domains of a blog post.
Since I finished my studies, I am now working for the Swedish-German IT-Consultancy Resco in Hamburg, where I'm mainly involved in the area of .NET, BizTalk, and SharePoint.
Personally, I like different cultures and languages and thus work from time to time in a socially-integrating café run by my church; I also like sports and travelling, and - of course - blogging.
